Symptom

!!! This KBA contains minor supplemental technical information to the BRSPACE correction !!!

!!! "2. Degree of parallelism is not reset after reorganization" mentioned in SAP note 2650065. !!!

The degree of parallelism set for a table reorganization was *NOT* reset to the original value for the indexes of the table after the reorganization has finished for BR*Tools 7.40 with patches less than 34. This problem affected only the generated indexes and is explained in SAP note 2650065. The behaviour has been changed in a way that the degree of parallelism is reset to 1 for the generated indexes starting with BR*Tools 7.40 patch 34. More information is needed about the circumstances of this correction.
