2663581 - How to add custom filters in Get Feedback function - Performance Management

This article provides how to add or remove custom fields as filters when using the Get Feedback function on a performance form.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

By default, there are five defaul filters: Employees, Divisions, Departments, Locations, Groups.

*The filter "Groups" here refers to the "My group" feature. To check "My group", click on profile icon on the top right, click on "Settings", then select "Groups". More details on "My group" feature please refer to KBA 2216397 - My Groups feature | Introduction and how to enable.

To add custom fields as filters, there are two options in provisioning available. Depending on your business needs, you can enable ONE of them:

• Enable filters in “Get Feedback” for CUSTOM01, Title, and Country/Region Fields in PM v11

OR

• Enable Custom Filters for “Get Feedback” in PM v11 form

1. If you want CUSTOM01, Title, and Country/Region Fields to be added, enable option "Enable filters in “Get Feedback” for CUSTOM01, Title, and Country/Region Fields in PM v11".

After enabling the option in Provisioning:

2. Or, if you want to use custom01 to custom15 as filter fields, enable the option "Enable Custom Filters for “Get Feedback” in PM v11 form".

After enabling the option, configure the custom01 to custom15 fields based on your business needs. 

There are two ways to configure the custom fields: 

• via Data model in provisioning 

OR

• via "Manage Business Configuration".

NOTE: The filters on the Get Feedback window will show all filter values to the users. The filter values currently cannot be restricted.
