2664266 - Error Messages While Activating the Organizational Unit

Your requirement is to Activate the Organizational Unit DEF. Upon activating, system throws the below errors and you are unable to proceed.

Cannot delete org unit XYZ; org unit is used in sales or service data
Org unit XYZ is used in PQR
Cannot change relationship between sales unit XYZ and its company

*DEF and XYZ represents the Organizational Units
PQR represents the business document

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Organizational Management work center
2. Go to Org Structures view
3. Select Edit
4. Select the Effective Date From DD.MM.YYYY
5. Select Organizational Unit XYZ
6. Select Activate->Activate All
7. System throws error

The error messages regarding the business document PQR is thrown due to the veto check messages that are called after the structural evaluation is done which is not allowing the activation of the Organizational Unit XYZ.

Remove any reference business documents created with any of the Organizational Unit and Activate the Organizational Unit.

For example:
Consider the business document as Leads. The business document Lead PQR is using the Organizational Unit XYZ as the Account. Remove the Account from the Involved Parties facet in Leads and Activate the Organizational Unit.

Note:
Instead of deleting the Organizational Unit, we recommend limiting the validity of the Organizational Unit.
