2665000 - Additional characters being added at the end of the file name in Ad Hoc Reports

When saving or downloading a report in Excel, PDF or PPT, the system automatically adds additional text and characters to the report name.

1. Go to Home;
2. Reporting;
3. Try to export any Ad Hoc report as Excel/PDF/PPT;
4. Notice that the report name gets additional text and characters:
   

When you export a report involving BIRT in Excel/PDF/PPT format, the output file name will get appended with the random number. BIRT generates the output filename based on the '.rptDesign' file that is passed as an input to the BIRT framework. These additional random text and numbers are appended to the file name to maitain the uniqueness of the '.rptDesign' file.

As these random numbers are appended by the BIRT framework to maitain the uniqueness of the '.rptDesign' file, this is an expected behaviour.

As a possible solution, you can run the report offline.
