Symptom

After downgrade Analysis for Office the following errors appears:

Environment

Analysis for Office

Reproducing the Issue

1. Downgrade Analysis for Office

2. Install lower version

3. Start Analysis for Office

(Based on a donwgrade from AO 2.7 to lower versions)

Cause

 Some files remains on the workstation.

Resolution

1. Go to the following paths:

  • %programdata%\sap\cof
  • %appdata%/sap/cof

2. Remove all the files from the paths (keep the files in other folder as backup)

3. Install Analysis for Office version that you downgraded.
