2665285 - Missing Products in the Product Search in Product Catalog

You want to add a product in your Product Catalog, however, when you search for the Product ID, no values are found in the Product Catalog.

SAP Business ByDesign - all its versions.

1. Go to the Product and Service Portfolio work center.
2. Go to the Product Catalogs view.
3. Search for ABC (ABC represents the Product Catalog ID).
4. Navigate to the Product Search tab.
5. On right side, search for XYZ (XYZ represents the Product ID).

No records are found.

You are not able to find the Product ID searched because the Product master data information does not match with the Product Catalog criteria, like: Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, Language, Country, etc.

This is the expected system behavior. An alternative option may be to check the SAP Customer Influencer Site and submit your idea: Customer Influence Platform.
