2665827 - Key Figure Condition is Not Applied Into Report Results

You have created a condition for Key Figure XYZ in a given report and set this condition as active. However, you notice that the condition is not effectively applied.

1. Log into the system and go to Business Analytics work center, Design Reports work center view.
2. Find and open the report XYZ. Run the report.
3. In Rows & Columns section, click on Key Figure and on Conditions.
4. In Manage Conditions window, make sure that your condition is checked as Active. In case you have not created it yet, you can do so by clicking on New.
5. Click on OK.
6. Run the report again.
7. Notice that the condition is not applied in the report results, or applied only partly.

Conditions are applied on a characteristic level, not row level.

For example, let us assume you add the fields Account, Sales Order and Net Value to the view and then create a condition on the characteristic Account and the key figure Net Value, so that only a net value higher than 1000 USD per account is shown. The values are split by sales order and there may be sales orders with a value less than 1000 USD. However, the condition was set on the Account, so it will summarize all values per account and check this summarized value against the condition. If all values together are higher than 1000, all the single values per sales order will be shown, even if they are lower than 1000 on their own.

Also, report conditions are not applied when a table hierarchy is used in the view.

This is the correct behaviour in report conditions.
