2665837 - Error: No measurement unit is assigned to ISO code in the Migrate Your Data app

When using Migration Cockpit to create data, you are facing the following error:

No measurement unit is assigned to ISO code &
Message no. BM 034

• The UOM needs to have an ISO Code assigned (T006-ISOCODE) that is marked as PRIMARY (T006-PRIMARY).

The root cause is mostly one of the following:

• The target value is not a valid ISO code or is not assigned to any UOM, so the system cannot resolve a matching UOM. 
  
  • For example, you have entered XXX as target value and XXX is neither an ISO code nor is XXX assigned to a valid SAP UOM
  • The standard function module to retrieve the correct SAP UOM cannot find a related entry
• The ISO code maps to multiple UOMs and none or more than one is flagged as PRIMARY, creating ambiguity. 
  
  • For example, C36 is assigned to two SAP UOMs C36 "Mole per Cubic Meter and V02 "Millimole per Liter" and none of them is flagged primary
  • The standard function module therefore cannot decide what value it should use and throws the error message

• Use the search help in the Mapping Task to verify that the target value is a valid ISO code and maps to a valid UOM.
• Use the configuration activity Units of measurement (SSCUI ID: 102179) to assign the ISO code and set exactly one entry as PRIMARY; for configuration issues, contact component BC-SRV-ASF-UOM.
