2665884 - Time Sheet Validation Rule Trigger on Incorrect Date

Validation error message is incorrectly raised if time sheet hours entered is on or before the date defined in the Time sheet validation rule

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - People Profile (PP3)

1. Go to employee’s profile > Time > Go to Time Sheet.
2. In the Time Sheet, go to the week defined in the rule.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Enter 1 hour for the exact date defined in the rule.
4. Click Submit button. Confirmation pop-up will appear.
5. Click Submit again. Business rule will trigger and raise an error message.

This is an expected behavior.

The Validation Rule attached to the Time Recording Profile always iterates through all the days of the current time sheet. It is not possible to restrict the processing to the day on which an entry was added or changed.
