2666128 - Target table template <VIEW_NAME> does not contain any key field - SLT

Symptom

  • There is a MSSQL table which contains column names that are longer than 30 characters and column names are truncated after 30 characters.
  • If 2 column names share the first 30 characters, after truncation, these 2 columns have the same name, in SLT, duplicated column names are removed so SLT cannot handle these table structures.
  • In order to be able to replicate such a table it is prescribed to create a view with shorter names and use in LTRS.
  • Adding a view in LTRS fails with "Target table template <VIEW_NAME> does not contain any key field."
