2666397 - Customer Role Is Not Defaulted When A Customer Is Created Via A B2C E-Mail Channel

Symptom

  • A B2C email channel has been configured to create new individual customers when the sender's email address is unknown.
  • A custom role has been defined as the default role for newly created customers under the Maintain Customer Roles option in the Accounts activity of Business Configuration.
  • However, the system defaults to the standard role Customer instead of applying the custom role.
