2666885 - onChange Rules in Identity Header Information fields in Add New Hire Wizard

Symptom

  •  You have an existing onChange rule assigned to Employment Info - Hire Date; Job Info - Company; and Job Info - Event Reason
  • In Add New Employee, in the Identity Header Information section, the rule is not triggering upon change of any of the three fields.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Define an onChange Rule on Hire Date/ Company/ Event Reason fields
  2. In Add New Employee screen > Change any of the three fields
  3. Observe that the rules are not triggering as expected

Cause

Currently, onChange rules are not supported for the mentioned fields during Add New Hire. As a workaround, use onInit rule instead.

Resolution

Our Product Management team is looking into implementing this in the future releases via Enhancement Ticket ECT-57955.
