2666897 - Error Security Policy ABC Does Not Exist

You select the existing security policy ABC to assign it to a user, but below error occurs:

Security policy ABC does not exist

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Application and User Management work center;
2. Open Business Users view;
3. Select the user;
4. Click Actions -> Assign Security Policy;
5. Select security policy ABC;
6. The error occurs.

The policy ABC is having the Minimum Password Change Waiting Time as 0, in order to have unlimited validity for password, but this is leading to the non-assignment of this security policy to the business users. The value of 'Minimum Password Change Waiting Time' should be set between 1 and 1000 days.

You need set the Minimum Password Change Waiting Time:

1. Go to Application and User Management work center;
2. Open Common Tasks > Edit Security Policies;
3. Select security policy ABC;
4. Change the Minimum Password Change Waiting Time to value between 1 and 1000 days;
5. Save it.
