2667728 - Warning Message Appears While Checking Kit Item List Consistency

You have created a Kit Item List for a Parent Kit ID -KK (KK refers to Kit ID), however when you check the consistency of the kit system throws below warning message:

Sales organisation details for item does not match with kit -KK

Or you added a new Product XYZ (XYZ represents the Product ID) and the following error occurs when you click on Check Consistency:

Product ID XYZ does not have active sales org matching the kit header

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Product and Service Portfolio Work Center.
2. Go to the Kit Item List view.
3. Choose All Kits and find the required Kit ID. (KK refers to Kit ID)
4. Select and Edit it.
5. Choose Check Consistency.

System throws above warning message.

In a Parent Kit, more than one sales organizations are maintained with distribution channel under Sales tab. However the same Sales Organizations are not updated for all Items maintained in a Kit Item List. To avoid an inconsistency the same should also be maintained in Child Kit Item List.

1. Go to Product and Service Portfolio Work Center.
2. Go to Products View.
3. Choose All Products and find Parent Kit ID.
4. Select and Edit it.
5. Choose View All and navigate to Sales tab.
6. Here you can see many Sales Organizations for Parent Kit however same are not maintained for Kit Items in a Kit Item List.
7. Now go to Kit Item List view and find the required Kit ID: KK (KK refers to Kit ID).
8. Edit it and View All.
9. Here under section: Items, all kit items are available.
10. Open each Product ID via hyperlink.
11. Navigate to Sales tab and set up the Sales Organizations with Distribution Channel details same as Parent Kit ID:KK (KK refers to Kit ID).
12. Perform Save.
13. Once it is done for all Items in a sales kit, perform Check Consistency.
