2667914 - Updating of a field with transaction MM17 or MATMAS iDoc results in message MG140

Symptom

Message MG140 The field is not ready for input and was therefore not transferred is received when updating it with transaction MM17. 

Or specific field not being updated after posing MATMAS iDoc. Message MG140 shown in application log. 

Same operation can be done in front end transaction MM01/MM02.
