Symptom

When reverse engineering a Hadoop Hive DBMS, complex data types of type array are reversed incorrectly:

  • An array of

 ARRAY_EXAMPLE array < decimal(10,0) > 
 MAP_EXAMPLE map < int, decimal(10,0) >

  • is reversed as

 ARRAY_EXAMPLE < undefined (.L:Type=) > 
 MAP_EXAMPLE < undefined (.L:Type=) >
