2668499 - INTERNAL ERROR #23 in DIST with Signal 11 in _pak_unpack_binary_command() - SRS

Symptom

  • SAP Replication Server (SRS) crashes with Signal 11 followed by a stack trace and a core dump. 
  • Distributor gets suspended with the following error: 
     
    INTERNAL ERROR #23 DIST(108 PDS.PDB) - eneric/prs/packbin.c(2289)
    Failed to assert 'len >= 0 && len < 255+1' at 2289, 'eneric/prs/packbin.c'. 
  • The stack trace contains the following functions:

     _pak_unpack_binary_command
      pak_unpack_command
      _dist_get_stmt
      _dist_service 
      dist_wrapper 

  • A dump queue output contains LARGE MESSAGE.
