2668589 - Middleware status in S/4HANA Service

In SAP S/4HANA Customer Management, service documents may display unexpected distribution statuses such as:

• Dist – To be distributed

• EErD – Distribution incorrect

• UGVB – Distribution lock

These statuses were originally used in SAP CRM middleware to control the distribution of data between systems.

However, S/4HANA Service represents a simplified and embedded version of SAP CRM within S/4HANA. Therefore, no middleware is required to replicate data between S/4HANA and the embedded S4CRM components.

As a result, the appearance of these distribution statuses in service documents may be unexpected, since data replication via middleware is not used in this architecture.
