You have added Additional Identifiers in Business Partner Duplicate Check in your Business Configuration and want to know what these are.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
-
Go to the Business Configuration work centre.
- Go to the Implementation Topics view.
- Open the Activity List.
- Search and open the Activity Duplicate Check Weighting for Business Partners.
- You have the option to add Additional Identifiers.
Resolution
The Business Partner Duplicate Check supports the DUNS number and Tax Numbers as Additional Identifiers.
On the Taxes side, we do NOT have a check that prevents the creation of another business partner with the same tax number. The system will allow the creation of 2 business partners with the same tax number.
Please note that Extension fields cannot be used for the duplicate check.
