2668898 - OData Services Facet for Registered Products Are Not Showing any Extension Fields

When creating a custom Odata Service for Extensions Fields related to Registered Products, the Registered Products are not showing the Extension Fields under the Odata Services Facet.

SAP Cloud For Customer

1. Go to the Administrator work center.
2. Select the Odata Service Explorer option.
3. Select the button Show and Custom Odata Services from dropdown.
4. Select New to create new custom Odata service.
5. Select Data Workbench enabled (optional).
6. Edit the Custom Odata service.
7. Select the required Custom BO under Select Business Object.
8. Expand and select the required Entities.
9. Now all the Extension fields related to the selected entities will be available in the right hand side window of Odata Service.
10. Select all the required KUT & SDK extension fields and save your custom Odata service.

1. Now go to the Products work center.
2. Select the view Registered Products.
3. Open the Registered Products ABC (ABC represents the name of the Registered Product).
4. Click on Adapt and Edit Master Layout.
5. Click on the wrench icon (Change Properties) and then on Field Definition.
6. Go to the Facet OData Services and click on Edit.
7. Click on plus on the column Action for the line c4cdataworkbench.
8. Click on Save at the bottom of the screen.
9. You can now close this field customization window and then finish the Layout Changes.

If extension fields are added to Registered Product - General Information, then they will not be displayed in the Odata Services facet.

To make the Extension Fields available in the OData Services Facet, the fields must be added in the Installation Point - General Information instead of the Registered Product - General Information.
