Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to your Goal Plan
- Try to add a Group or Team Goal - it is not possible.
Cause
This might be an issue with your goal plan xml or Role Based Permissions configuration.
As of the Q3 2018 Release, a new feature in Check Tool is being introduced for Goal Management => "The "allow-group-goal" attribute is set to true in the XML Goal Plan template, when Group/Team Goal is enabled."
Resolution
- Go to Admin Center => Company Settings => Check Tool;
- Select "Objectives" from the dropdown menu => tick the checkbox next to "The "allow-group-goal" attribute is set to true in the XML Goal Plan template, when Group/Team Goal is enabled." => Click on "Run Checks";
- Select the goal plan you want to check from the dropdown and click on Run;
- If there is no mismatch, as seen in screenshow below, check the RPB permission for the user who can't add the group goals;
- If there is a mismatch between the Provisioning (backend) switches and your goal plan xml, please reach out to Support as per knowledgebase article 2250190 - SCR Form: XML Software Change Request for Goal Plans and what is an Implementation Request in Goal Management. We can change the configuration from <allow-group-goal=false> to <allow-group-goal=true>.
