Symptom

The order of the Questionnaires list is not clear

Reproducing the Issue

App Manage Questionnaires

Resolution

The order in which the QNRs are shown is not the subsequent order in which they have been created.

The ordering of the List follows two rules:

 

Rule 1: Last Changed Date, sort order descending, so the latest that have been modified first

Rule 2: Lifecycle Status, sort order ascending.

 

The Lifecycle Status are defined as follows:

 

Value name

Definition

In Preparation

A status that indicates that

  • Inconsistent changes can be saved
  • Questionnaire can be deleted
  • Questionnaire cannot be assigned to evaluation objects …

 

Released

A status that indicates

  • Only consistent questionnaires can be saved
  • Questionnaire can be assigned  to evaluation objects

Obsolete

A status that indicates that

  • Evaluation/ registration objects assigned to this questionnaire cannot be released/ submited
  • No creation of new surveys
  • No maintaining of any data
  • Ready for archiving

 

 

This both sorting rules are the reason why you do not see the Questionnaires in the subsequent order they have been created.
