2669573 - Pay Scale Group and Pay Scale Level Exceeds Maximum Length Allowed - Job History Import

• When running a Job Information Import, an Error Message comes up that reads : 

Pay Scale Group and Pay Scale Level exceeds the maximum length allowed of ## characters.

• How to increase the length of import for Pay Scale Group and Pay Scale Level.

1. Navigate to Import Employee data > Job Information Import
2. Load the file and try running an Import
3. An Error message shows up as highlighted Above

This issue occurs when the field maximum length is limited to few characters.

1. Go to Manage Business Configuration > jobInfo
2. Scroll down to the following fields: Pay Scale Group and Pay Scale Level and click on Details
3. Edit the Maximum length field to a higher number on both the fields

4. Repeat these steps for the Pay Scale Fields on the country Specific Job Information elements as well, if any.
