2669626 - Time Recording Variant with Clock Times is Not Allowed When Requesting on Non-Working Days is Allowed

• Clock Times are being used
• When requesting time off on a non-working day the following message is seen: "Time recording variant with clock times is not allowed when requesting on non-working days is allowed."

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

When using Clock Times as a time recording variant, requesting time off on a non-working day is not supported until 2H 2023.

From the 2H 2023 release, it is possible to request Full Day Absence on Non-working Days when an employee's Time Recording Variant is Clock-Times. (Refer Requesting Absence on Non-Working Days for Clock-Time Users).

Until 2H 2023 Release

If using Clock Times, make sure Requesting on Non-Working Days Allowed is set to No on your Time Type:

NOTE: The following are the restrictions when using Clock Times:

• You should not change the clock time variant in your job information more than once a day.
• At this time, cross-midnight work schedules are not supported.
• At this time, times in work schedules cannot be set to 00:00 or 24:00. However, 23:59 is possible.
• Only fixed breaks are supported.
