2669651 - Error M3185 occurs when user change material in transaction code MM02

Symptom

Users want to change the price control from  V (moving average price) to S (Standard price) in material tab accouting view in transaction code MM02. Then they get the error message number M3 185 "Only price control "V" is possible for split valuation" .
