Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open App Create Technical Object.
  2. Select 'Equipment' in the dropdown menu for Technical Object Type.
  3. Press F4 on the Field "Technical Object Category".
  4. Select Equipment Category M.
  5. Press Continue.
  6. Navigate to the tab "Location Data".
  7. Input a plant in the field "Maintenance Plant".
  8. Select the Menu option "Change Structure".
  9. Press Install.
  10. Error "This action is only possible after saving".

Cause

System works as designed.

Resolution

Need to save the data first before installation while creating new technical object.
