2669858 - How Does the System Decide What Timezone is Used When Importing an Apprentice School Event?

An apprentice school event was imported with the start and end times in UTC in the import file. However, the apprentice school event was actually imported with UTC + 2:00. Why?

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Import and Export Data and download a template for Apprentice School Event.

2. Populate the template and enter Start Date and Time/End Date and Time in UTC.

3. Import the template and check the Apprentice School Event. Note that the Start Time and End Time are now UTC + 2:00 (for example).

When importing apprentice school events, the timezone used is based on the Data Center location of the instance. If the Data Center location is DC12 (Rot) for example, the timezone used will be UTC + 2:00.

If the apprentice school event is added via the UI, the timezone used is the logged in user's locale.
