2670618 - There is already another record with the same start date on Manage Pending Hires - Employee Central

When trying to submit a new employee on the system via Manage Pending Hires an error appears: "There is already another record with the same start date."

• Pre-day 1

1. Go to Manage Pending Hires
2. Hire a new employee
3. Going through Personal Information to the next portlet should appear the screen to match the user (where you will not be able to proceed)
4. Fill all the data that is required
5. Click in Save
6. Error will appear

This issue can happen for two reasons:

1. The customer are using pre-day 1, but the employee that matched with Manage Pending Hires is currently inactive in the system, where can bring a lot of inconsistencies according that the user that came form pre-day 1 should be active in the system.
   
   
2. The customer are using pre-day 1, but the pre-day 1 profile has Employee Central data (e.g Personal Information, Biographical Information, Job Information and etc), this is not supported and also can lead in application error on the hire process.

Depending of the reasons are different solutions, below for the first cause:

To solve this issue the customer will have to Permanent Purge the employee who is inactive in the system and proceed with the Manage Pending Hire Request.

For the second cause:

You need to delete Employee Central data from the pre-day 1 Profile and after that you should be able to perform the hire.
