How to update the Users name format (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name) for a particular locale?

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. References > Manage Labels >Labels
2. Search for the Label ID: format.LastName.FirstName.MI > Edit
3. Go to Locales tab
4. Navigate to the Active Locale ID to be updated and rearrange the values (Note: {0}, {1} {2} = LastName, FirstName MiddleName, i.e. First Name MiddleName and Last Name =  {1} {2}, {0})
5. Apply changes

Note:

• This label will update name format in the Recents tab
• This label will not change the name format in the following:
• User record header
• User record > Programs tab > Assigned by column (if the program is assigned by an admin, but it will be updated if the program is self-assigned)
• The Learning system has thousands of labels that are used in multiple places.
• Full testing should be done in a Stage environment before making the change in Production.
• If the label does not update a specific location that was needed, please see KBA 2913764 and/or Record Configuration.

Note: If a user has a value in the General Display Name, the field will show that value instead of using the label value to populate the information. The General Display Name cannot be viewed as specific field on the interface. The archived input file from the User Connector or User Connector - SF may show the data under the DISPLAYNAME or GENERAL_DISPLAY_NAME columns. General Display Name impacts all places that the user account or admin related account may show on the interface.
