Symptom
How a change in the FTE value on a Compensation worksheet will affect the Merit Field taking into consideration the Amount and Percentage features of the Merit Field.

Environment
SAP Successfactors Compensation
Reproducing the Issue
- Configure a Compensation worksheet to have the Merit Field included as well as the FTE field.
- When the worksheet is launched the planner will make recommendations on the Merit Field.
- They will do this by entering either a Percentage value or Amount Value into the respective parts of the Merit Field.
4. The customer then will change the value of the FTE for users on the Compensation Worksheet.
5. Notice here the behaviour that the FTE change will affect the calculation of the Percentage.
6. The percentage will be proportioned by the new FTE as seen in the screenshots above.
7. The amount field will stay constant to the first entry.
Resolution
This is expected behaviour and the system is working as expected.
- When the FTE field change's value the original amount will remain as it was upon first entry.
- The percentage will calculate on the fly to represent the new FTE value.
