Please report the following to your system administrator:
No content to map to Object due to end of input
java.io.EOFException: No content to map to Object due to end of input
Environment
SuccessFactors Learning Management System
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to Content > Question Library > Click Add New
- Copy the Question ID from a Word or Excel document that you already have populated with your questions to the Question ID field on LMS
- Fill the other required fields with data regarding the question
- Click Create button
- Navigate to Content > Question Library
- Search for the question you just created
- Select the question on the checkbox
- Click Edit
Cause
Invalid characters that were present on Word or Excel were copied to the Question ID field and this created the problem that gives the Java error when trying to open the question.
Resolution
When you create a list of questions on Word or Excel, the formatting could have some of these invalid characters. Copy this to a text editor, like notepad, to clear it and then paste on the Question ID field.
