2671389 - Import, Create or Move competencies or competency library in Job Description Manager (JDM)

The porpouse of this KBA is to explain how to import and create new competencies in Job Description Manager and move Competencies from one library to another.

Downloading the template

1. Download template using an existing competency library by going to Competency Libraries. Select a competency library to download for template. 
   
   
   
   
   
2. Select all Roles, seelect "Export GUID", click on Download;
   
   
   
   
   
3. You will now have the template to use. Use the format, but remove all data in the template.
   
   
   
   
4. Input new competencies you want to add/import:
   
   

Importing Competencies

1. Import via "Import New Competency Libraries":
   
   
   
   
2. Successful import will display the message below:
   
    
3. New competencies are now added in the new library:
   
   

Moving competencies from a library to another

In the last image, you will see that the competency ALIVE in in TEST4 library.

1. To move this competency, create a new csv file with below information;
   
   
   
   
2. Import via "Import New Competency Libraries". Once successful, you will see that a new library named TEST5 has been created;
   
   
   
   
3. With the competency ALIVE, GUID 19201 in TEST5 library;
   
   
   
   
4. ALIVE competency is hence removed to TEST4:
