Symptom

  • SAP Jam client not working.
  • SAP Jam client authentication failure.

SAP Jam Collaboration.

Resolution

Note: These clients are only available for SAP Jam Advanced Plus & SAP Jam Enterprise Edition.

We are updating some of the clients used to access SAP Jam services and it may affect you and others using Jam in your company. If you are using any of the applications listed below you will need to update to the latest version for those to continue working.

In order to obtain the new versions for these, please open a ticket with SAP Support (use component LOD-SF-JAM). Beginning 7/28/2018, older clients will fail with a "Authentication has failed" error message.

The affected clients are:

  • SAP Jam file sync client
  • SAP Jam add-in for Microsoft Office Outlook
  • SAP Jam Application Launcher
  • SAP Jam activity hub
