2671692 - rs_init fails to create if "net password encryption reqd" enabled in ASE RSSD - SRS

Symptom

  • rs_init will not allow an SAP Replication Server (SRS) to be created when "net password encryption reqd" enabled in an SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) Replication Server System Database (RSSD).
  • Creating SRS without "net password encryption reqd" enabled and then configuring SRS to set send_enc_password to 'on' does not resolve the issue.
