Symptom
When creating a requisition via position org chart, it always displays "SFAPI" as the user who created the requisition. How can we find out the actual user who created the requisition from position org chart?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Company Info -> Position Org Chart
- Create a requisition from one of the positions
- See that the Job requisition originator is listed as "SFAPI"
Cause
The reason it always displays "SFAPI" as the job requisition originator is because you need to implement the Originator Rule.
Resolution
Please see screenshot below of how the rule should be configured.
Please implement this rule and you will start seeing the person who created the requisition from position org chart instead of it always displaying "SFAPI" as the user who created the req.
In order to add this new rule, please navigate to Admin Center > Position Management Settings > Integration > Click on Icon near the text box for the Requisition Field Mappings (This is below the column that says 'Rule for Mapping Fields Between Position and Job Requisition' > This will open a new window in which you can add the new rule.
In the history section on the left side click on Take Action > Make Correction > Under the 'Then' Section hover over it and click on Add Expression > Then you can add the new originator rule and configure it as it is configured in the screenshot above. Then save the changes.
Once this is done, you should be able to create positions from position org chart with it showing the user who created it.
