2671992 - Error: You do not have permissions to view the content of this folder. Contact your administrator (FWM 02037), when logging on to BI Platform from Lumira Designer

Symptom

Using Lumira 1.31.x to log into BI Platform results in the error:

Error: You do not have permissions to view the content of this folder. Contact your administrator (FWM 02037)

NOTE: a blank error form may appear on top of the error:

In this case, clicking on the <OK> button will reveal the error message underneath.

Clicking on the <OK> Button of the actual error will fail to display the BI Platform folder structure.

Environment

SAP Lumira Desktop 1.31.x

SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Service Pack 08

Reproducing the Issue

  1.  Open Lumira Desktop 1.31.x
  2. Attempt to log on to BI Platform

Cause

Corrupted Tomcat Work folder 

Resolution

  • Rebuild the Tomcat Work folder as described in KBA 2645603 - Error RWS 00005 : Lumira server is not found or server is down. Check in CMC servers list. (HDB 05509) - when connecting to BI Platform
  • Use WDEPLOY to redeploy the BOE folder.
