Reproducing the Issue

  1. Setup an HRIS PayComponentGroup Sums Sync job
  2. Execute the job

Resolution

Step 1: Create HRIS PayComponentGroup Sums Sync Job  Via Scheduled Job Manager. 

  • 2512570 - Creating an HRIS Sync Job in SAP SuccessFactors Via Scheduled Job Manager or Provisioning 

Step 2: Run table Person and Employment Info (As of date)

  1. Go to report center 
  2. Table 
  3. Select only: sub domain: Person and Employment Info (as of Date)
  4. Select Columns: Employee Pay Group Sums
  5. Select all 
  6. Save 
  7. Generate  - CSV

  1. Create an Adhoc or Table  report using Person and Employment Info (As of date), from the columns section there should be a new selectable entry named as Employee Pay Group Sums wherein you could select the Annualized Salary field:

Q) Can We run canvas or Story report for Annualized Salary?

A) Currently: No workaround and not possible via canvas or story report.This is an expected behavior. Refer to:  2613013 Employee Pay Group Sums schema unavailable in Advanced Reporting (ODS)  - Cause: Employee Pay Group Sums is a transient field and therefore is not made available in Advanced Reporting.

  • The schema was made available earlier in Ad Hoc reporting before Advanced Reporting was developed.
  • The fields in this schema in Ad Hoc reporting fetch data based on a sync job that runs regularly in provisioning: 2177328.
        4. Building calculated columns for the desired transient fields or utilizing one of the EC standard reports is the most reliable option.
