Symptom

  • No entry for Data Services in System Landscape Directory (SLD).
  • When configuring Data Services system, sld_data_services.xml.log file isn't generated under $LINK_DIR/sldreg (Linux) or %LINK_DIR%\sldreg (Windows).
  • "[ERROR] DS registration has not been done yet. Please restart DS and verify file $LINK_DIR/sldreg/sld_data_services.xml.log (Linux) or %LINK_DIR%\sldreg\sld_data_services.xml.log (Windows) generated, then run this step again." when running Ac tool.
