Symptom

How do we hide/ remove help text from portlets where we don’t want to see it?

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

Scroll through people profile and observe the help text

Resolution

To remove a help text:

  1. Admin Center;
  2. Manage Data;
  3. Search for ECHelp;
  4. Find the help text you don’t need;
  5. Click Take Action;
  6. Permanently Delete Entry (Example Below)
