2673550 - XSCONTROLLER does not start due to invalid FQDN

• After installation, the xscontroller (hdbxscontroller process) will not start.
• The following error can be found in xscontroller_<n>.log

com.sap.xs2rt.controller.ControllerExceptions$ControllerStartUpException: Could not startup the controller components: The controller is not available via the platform router at https://<subdomain>.<domain>:30030. The cause for this could be port 30030 is unavailable, wrong proxy settings, an unreachable or incorrect domain or others. Please check the SAP WebDispatcher logs in /hana/shared/<SID>/xs/controller_data/controller/router/webdispatcher/logs and the controller log.

• A subdomain or the domain does not start with a letter. Example: 1hanaxsa.mydomain.com. This can happen in public cloud infrastructures as they might assign random generated strings to hosts.
