2673632 - Error Appears when trying to Create Inbound Delivery from 3PL Inbound Delivery Notification

When you are trying to create Inbound Delivery from 3PL Inbound Delivery Notification DEF (DEF refers to Inbound delivery Notification id).

Numbering formats must be maintained for warehouse provider
Number range configuration not determined.
Save Failed

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Third-Party Logistics Work Center
2. Select Inbound Delivery Notifications View
3. Select Delivery Notification DEF and Select New Inbound Delivery
4. Fill the External Delivery ID  under General tab and External Delivery Item ID as  under Line Items tab
5. Select Save

See the following errors

Numbering formats must be maintained for warehouse provider.
Number range configuration not determined.
Save Failed

In the Activity Document Numbering Formats for Inbound Delivery,  no Document type was maintained or the wrong one is maintained, Hence this caused the error.

You can check the same by following the steps below:

1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center
2. Select Implementation Project
3. Open Activity List
4. Go to Fine Tuning Step
5. Find for Document Numbering Formats for Inbound Delivery
6. Select Go
7. Select Open

2. Select Implementation Project View
3. Open Activity List
4. Go to Fine Tuning Step
5. Find for Document Numbering Formats for Inbound Delivery
6. Select Go
7. Select Open
8. Select Add row
9. Maintain all manadatory fields like Company ID, Document type, Prefix Value, etc and relevant fields

Document type should be maintained as Supplier Delivery
