Symptom

With the Candidate Relationship Management Email Campaign feature, users can create email campaigns. This is one of the enhancements for Q3 2018.

  • Candidate Relationship Management (CRM)

Resolution

Note that the Marketing Tab will be present at the company level as soon as the box for the Email Campaign Feature is ticked in the Upgrade Center to enable it.

Note however that users need to have the required permissions assigned to be able to work with campaigns. (see CRM guide for prerequisites and enablement).

In order to create an email campaign the user can user the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Recruiting;
  2. Click on Marketing;
  3. The user will be able to see all email campaigns created so far. To create a new one the user can click on the button New Email Campaign;
  4. Enter or select values for the email campaign fields, as desired. After complete press the button Review Email.

The email campaign editor allows the user to insert to the body text predefined tokens via the option Recipient Field presented below.

The user can opt-in to include all or some of the available recipient fields.

The following table summarizes the fields of a email campaign creation:

Field

Description

Email Campaign Name

Email campaign name.

Campaign Description

Description to help the user remember the campaign.

Locale

Select the Locale for this campaign.

Brand

Brand name created in Career Site Builder under Tools > Brand Management.

Email Campaign Code

Automatically generated from the Campaign Name field to be used as part of the URL. This text can be overwritten.

From Display Name

Normally used to specify the company’s name.

Reply-To Display Name

Reply-To name on the email.

Reply-To Email Address

Reply-To email address.

To

To add recipients to the campaign, go to the Candidates tab and add candidates from search results to the campaign. It's also possible to add Talent Pools as the recipients for Email Campaigns.

Email Subject Line

Corresponds to the Email subject.

Email Layout

Select the HTML Email Layout template created in Career Site Builder (CSB).

Content Template

Select Email Content Template to pre-populate the text in an Email Campaign.

Content (Email Body)

Text content of email with token support for first name, last name, email and marketing consent URL.
