2673700 - Error when configuring SDA to Hive: EAGAIN (timed out)

Symptom

When connecting HANA to HIVE using SDA this error message is seen in HANA Studio:

SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: Cannot get remote source objects: [unixODBC][Simba][ThriftExtension] (3) Error occurred while contacting server: EAGAIN (timed out). The connection has been configured to use a SASL mechanism for authentication. This error might be due to the server is not using SASL for authentication.
