2673720 - Error Message: “Retention period X yr for Invoice Request not completed; data removal not possible” During the Deletion Run

During the deletion run for Private Account XYZ system throws the below error regarding the Retention period for Invoice Requests.

Retention period X yr for Invoice Request not completed; data removal not possible

*XYZ represents the Private Account
X represents the Retention period in years

To perform Business Partner Data Removal

1. Go to Data Protection and Privacy workcenter
2. Select Business Partner Data Removal
3. Select Remove Data
4. Select Remove Data and see the below
5. Deletion will remove personal data in master data and transactional documents. This action is irreversible, might harm running processes and change analytical data in reports. Do you wish to continue?
6. Select Yes

To check the results of Data Removal Run

1. Go to Data Protection and Privacy workcenter
2. Go to Common Tasks view
3. Select Administer Data Removal Runs
4. Show Failed Removal Runs
5. Select the Run ID
6. Open the Application Log ID
7. In the Results tab, able to see the error

In Business Configuration work center, the Retention period for Private Account XYZ for country PQR is maintained as X years. The Invoice Request checks for this Retention period during the removal of Private Account during veto checks.

Perform the changes in Business Configuration work center for Retention period of Private Accounts for country PQR. You may follow the below steps:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview
3. Search and Open the activity Data Retention for Private Accounts
4. Find the country PQR
5. Change the Retention Period to Z year
6. Save and Close

Proceed with the Business Partner Data Removal for Private Account XYZ.
