Symptom
The Inventory Level Adjustment Run is creating duplicated Replenishment Tasks for the same source Logistics Area XXX.
XXX = Logistics Area ID.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Internal Logistics work center.
- Select the Task Control view.
- Select Open Advanced Filter.
- Fulfill the Source Logistics Area as XXX.
- Fulfill the Operation Type as Replenish.
- Click Go.
There are duplicated Replenishment Tasks which are not confirmed yet.
Cause
The Replenishment Rule for the Logistics Area XXX is of type Consumption Based with Replenishment Quantity Code of type Constant Quantity. Each time an Inventory Level Adjustment Run is executed, a Warehouse Request is created until the sum of the On-Hand inventory and incoming documents is lower than the quantity set as Replenishment Quantity. If the inventory was lower than the Replenishment Quantity, a Warehouse Request and eventually a Task were created for this quantity. The run was again executed, and this time again, the On-Hand stock along with the incoming document (previously created Warehouse Request) was lower than the Replenishment Quantity, hence another Warehouse Request was created.
