When trying to change a Ticket you have write access for, the following Error message is shown, when trying to change the Ticket:
'You are not authorized to change the data'
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
User ABC (ABC represents the User ID) has write access to Ticket DEF (DEF represents the Ticket ID)
- Log in to the Cloud for Customer tenant as User ABC.
- Go to the Service work center.
- Select the Tickets view.
- Open Ticket DEF.
- Make changes to the Ticket.
- Select the Save button.
The following Error message is shown:
'You are not authorized to change the data'.
The Ticket has related items (Eg. Sub Tickets, Main Tickets), which the User has no access to.
This is the expected system behaviour in SAP Cloud for Customer.
The error message will be displayed but if the User has access to that particular Ticket, they are still able to change the data and save the changes.
