2674860 - Product Line Item Selection on Overview Facet is not Supported

Symptom

Selection of product line item is not working on overview facet in sales quote.

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales workcenter
  2. Go to the Sales Quote view
  3. Open XYZ Sales quote (XYZ represents sales quote id)
  4. Go to Overview tab/facet
  5. Select the line item under product section

Selection does not work

Cause

List products on overview facet in quote is not enabled for selection. Therefore, selection does not work in sales quote overview screen.

Below other business objects are also not enabled for selection:

  • Contract - Overview facet - List Item
  • Appointment - Overview facet - List Involved Parties
  • Sales Order - Overview facet - List Products

Resolution

This is an expected system behavior.

Selecting product line item is supported on Product facet. Hence we recommend to use product facet.
