2675356 - You are Not Able to Open the Files Generated by the Content Transfer When Exporting Layouts

Symptom

You have exported the layout via content transfer and downloaded the file. However, you are not able to open this file locally in your computer.

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Click on Adapt
  2. Click on Export Master Layout
  3. Select All Layouts/Master Layout
  4. Click Ok

 Or

  1. Go to Administrator Workcenter
  2. Click on Content Transfer
  3. Select the content Export/Import
  4. Go to Attachments tab.
  5. Select the document and click on Download.

Resolution

After downloading the file you should rename it and add the extension .zip to it. Now you will be able to open this zip file and access the .xml file inside it.
