2675509 - Deliver From Selected Source of Supply Button Disabled

You have a customer demand document which is not released and want to change the source of supply of one of your line items. While trying to switch the source of supply, the button Deliver From Selected Source of Supply is disabled.

1. Go to Outbound Logistics Control work center.
2. Navigate to the Customer Demand view.
3. Search for the relevant customer demand document, select it and choose the Edit button.
4. Select the Line Items tab and choose the sub-tab Alternative Sources.
5. You see there are multiple source of supply available for you to ship the Item from, but the button Deliver From Selected Source of Supply is disabled.

You have marked the sales order against the relevant customer demand for Complete Delivery. In Complete Delivery orders you will not be able to change the source of supply once the system has identified a source of supply.

If it is an absolute necessity for your business that you have to change the source of supply from the customer demand, you can choose to switch off the Complete Delivery option temporarily for your customer demand and change the source of supply. Please follow below given steps to do so.

1. Go to Outbound Logistics Control work center.
2. Navigate to the Customer Demand view.
3. Search for the relevant customer demand document, select it and choose the Edit button.
4. Select the Actions button and choose the option Temporarily Switch Off Complete Delivery.

Once the above steps is performed you will be able to change the source of supply for the relevant Item from your end. It is highly recommended that you do not choose the option Complete Delivery if there exists a business case where you have to change the source of supply via customer demand frequently.
