2675925 - "Last Updated By" column - System AP vs. Learning admin ID

Symptom

It is desired to understand how the system works to show either the "System AP" or the "Learning admin ID", in the "Last Updated By" column of the reports, when there is a system assignment profile (AP) involved.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Resolution

Whenever the system takes an action to change the data based on the AP rules, it is considered last updated by the "System AP". However, the propagation (found in the "Actions" menu of the AP) of an AP is an action that has to be explicitly run/performed by a Learning admin.

With it, the system is designed to update the "Last Updated By" column with the Learning admin ID.

E.g.: The AP was changed and the changes were saved. The AP was propagated ("Execute Changes") and the "Update Users and Assignments" was executed. If any change was made to the user record, the "Last Updated By" column will show the Learning admin ID who propagated the changes in the AP, before running the synchronization.
